1: Salmon

how to get rid of dark knees in a week




A very effective treatment to lighten knees is to make a paste of milk cream, a dash of turmeric, and 3 drops of basil leaf extract. Put on this paste on the darkened regions and leave it overnight and wash off next morning. Repeat for a week to find great results.

To get rid of dark knees and rough skin, rub a piece of lemon regularly on the knees. Lemon is a natural bleach and has a lightening effect on the skin.

Take a mixture of 1 teaspoon coconut oil and half teaspoon lime juice and apply it on the knees. Insert a towel in hot water and scrub the areas on the knees and elbows.

To get rid of dry and dead skin that gives the knees a dark appearance, prepare the following scrub and use it once a week. Make a smooth paste using gram flour and curd. Apply it on the dark areas and let it dry.

Use an exfoliating scrub, like one of those poofs you see, or a loofah. This will, over time (a couple weeks of doing it everyday) remove all the dark, dead skin. Be gentle though, you don't want to break the skin or cause it to raw.

In the shower, you can rub lemon (cut the lemon in half, apply fruit side to skin) on your knees after scrubbing, this will also help lighten the skin.

Moisturize with a quality Cream (use CREAM, not lotion, its much thicker and more effective) liberally on your knees after shower and before bed every day.
